Potomac Strategy Group Internship (Paid)

Potomac Strategy Group is offering a paid internship open immediately with a commitment to 10–20 hours/week (flexible hours). A good applicant will be self-motivated, driven, and passionate about politics, communications, and public relations. The internship will be based in Austin, TX. 

Intern responsibilities include:

• Assist media monitoring and tracking for clients
• Create social media content for clients and firm
• Assist in basic political opposition research 
• Assist in public relations implementation  
• Other duties as assigned 

Applicants should be highly self-motivated with an interest in politics, communications, and public relations. Interested applicants should have: strong writing ability; basic graphic design; familiarity with Texas and national politics; understanding of social media brands, content best practices, and metrics; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
